Did you know that “itis” is a suffix, that means inflammation? An example of this is the word “dermatitis,” which actually means inflammation of the skin!

When inflammation in our body is short-term, it can be healthy and necessary, and often indicates healing regarding infections, injuries, or toxins.

However, when inflammation becomes chronic, some major issues can occur.

The good news? There are a lot of things you can do to avoid or reduce inflammation so that your body can thrive!

Here are some inflammation-tamers to incorporate into your lifestyle:

  • Ginger
  • Frankincense
  • Turmeric
  • Chaga
  • Galangal
  • Rosemary
  • Skullcap

Inflammation is a BIG component that we address in our health programs at Custom Health Centers, and it can hold you and your body back from a lot (including weight loss!).
